Pentax has submitted its final two compact cameras, an entry-level compact and a range of media. The first is the Optio E60 and offers 3X optical zoom (with focal equivalent to a 32-96mm on 35mm format), with a 10.1 megapixel sensor, and the other, which is called Optio M60, instead pointing to a resolution 10 effective megapixels, a 5X optical zoom (with coverage equivalent to a 36-180mm in the 35mm format).

The Optio E60 offers several features software to assist the less experienced photographers, including “Face Recognition AF & AE”, the Auto Picture, laying down conditions for the resumption of the subject and automatically selects the most appropriate way scene, and how “Digital SR (Shake Reduction)”, designed to prevent the risk of photo subjects raised with little sharp. The sensitivity is adjusted automatically up to ISO 6400. The retail price of the Pentax Optio E60 is attesting on € 125.

These software features the Pentax Optio M60 adds Smile Capture function, which allows the camera to “trigger” automatically when the subject smiles, and Blink Detection, a post that warns the photographer if the subject has closed his eyes.
You can also make movies with a resolution of 640x 480 pixels benefiting the Civil Movie SR Shake Reduction, which helps to reduce the slight. In the case of the Pentax Optio M60 the retail price is attesting to € 185.00.
